Muddy Church welcomes children of all ages along with their parents or responsible adults, to come and take part on fabulous fun activities based on nature and ecology. It takes place every month, either on a Saturday at 10.30am - 12 noon, or on a Sunday 3 - 4.30pm. The format is usually a brief storytime which either tells story or provides some fascinating facts about an aspect of nature. Thees are related gently to God's love of all Creation and our responsibility for looking after it.
There will then be activities - sometimes crafts based on the theme, sometimes working out in the churchyard with plants, bulbs etc, or occasionally going on a nature walk. Refreshments are provided.
The session usually ends with a song or two, sometimes fun Christian songs for children related to the day's themes. Do come and join us! Email the church to book a place (so we know how many resources to prepare!).
In the summer we enjoy a Teddy Bears' Picnic and in December we have a Big Winter Solstice Party with Christingles.
